more flow if i......?

so i got a new bulkhead and ran all new plumbing
its going good so far
loud tho but flowing more water like i wanted

one thing tho
i let it dry for 2 hrs like the can said
rinsed it out
but i can still smell glue fumes
is this ok for the fish?????
i have the lids of the tank and filter off to air it out more

bump this to the next page
and the tank has been running for a while
so not as worried about fumes
but still curious on opinions about it

looks 10x better than before hows thew flow rate compared to the old one ?

these 2 pix you can barely see the difference in water level
before pic "the first pic" its about an 1/8 inch over the screen thing
and after the "fix" its right at the top of the screen thing
so it is flowing more
and now i dont have to restrict the flow like before
now i want to test it out,get a 300-400gph pump for it next
its a 256gph now
but that will be in the future

and heres pix of the diy overflow i had to use once i broke the bulk
i made the inlet real low cus the bulk was "open" then i had to let it dry
it worked good tho
used it for about a day
first time running a diy overflow for me

hard to say the difference right now it does flow more
before i used a t and valve to re direct water into the filter cus the tanks waterlevel would be to high without it
now i dont have to worry about that

it is louder with the new setup
before with the tube it was silent
