Thanks guys I'm only using photoshop to remove floating particles and to adjust levels. It's pretty easy to get the black background with the camera because it's a 24" deep tank and I'm using a remote flash. This guy is doing awesome with the other fish, and is about a foot long (smallest fish in the tank).
