That had to be nasty! Seems like a lot of gaboon owners get bitten. Those snakes to had a nasty attitude.

I have been into snakes as long as fish,but got away from them in the early 90's due to a mishap with one of my gaboon vipers and had to sell off most of my collection ect........so I am starting back up with strictly ATBs for awhile untill I get back into the swing of things.

Glad you're getting back in. Are all your ATB's in Exo-terra type setups?

yes, the young ones are...but they are pretty much sealed off for humidity...below doors are sealed as well as half the top. bottom substrate is soaked moss with a UTH to keep it humid with misting twice daily and an overhead heat source...so basically dlt is 82-84* with a night drop to 76*...the exo-terras arent the best "utility' type enclosures,but do make nice display enclosures.
