That plec could be one of many species. It could be one of any of these: L048, 142, 158, 248, 274, and LDA33. Both appear to be hypans or baryancistrus. Tough to say as they could also be in a color phase. The second one appears to be a male though due to the odontode growth.

Your fish in question is L201

That's what I'm going with judging by the head/mouth shape and the amount of odontodes on the pelvic fin could indicate that it is a male.

That amount of odontode growth wouldn't be typical for a bary sp. at that size.
