looks like a really skinny rhom to me you should fatten him up his shape will change a bit

that fish is way too skinny to make a positive id.... but if i were forced to take a guess, i would say rhom, i've nursed a few rhoms back to health from that point and that looks pretty similar. where did you get him from? not sea level, i hope

That's a severely malnourished Rhom, IMO. You can see the ribs in the last picture. Fatten him more!

I bought a ternetzi from a guy off piranha fury about 5 days ago and he gave me this fish for free. He said the collection point was xingu river, but who knows for sure.

Oh and I got him to eat a little shrimp. I dont like to feed piranhas feeders, but I was wondering if I should in this case just to try and fatten him up.

Joe that fish looks exactley like the rhoms that you had a whilee back.. im pretty sure its a rhom.

I'd try feeding him anything. Beef heart, blood worms, rosy red feeders.....his position in a few of the pictures makes it look like hes in a bare tank may be a little skittish I'd get him some cover and feed it a variety of things.
