Didi some reading, apparently there are two types- one is all over china, europe, and the othe ris Korean.
Not surprising, the common name for the first is - chinese predatory carp, the second is Korean predatory carp.

They are pest fish, and local people hate them.

The two that came was two feet, caught while the farmers were clearing their pond- was told usually the just smash the fish once caught because they eat upall the othe rfishes.

So they were banged up and not in good condition- to make it worst- they were too big for travel- more than 2 feet.

So they did not make it. However, one point that was good is- they look really good- large , big teeth, and totally gold in colour- even in their last breath.
There was overwhelming response for this fish- so i WOULD DEFINITELY GET MORE.
I am planning for small ones- 20 cm - collecting them now.

As for the rest, the cat fishes are fine, the white one has abit of fungus, but wil lget out of it.

The pike perch was also huge, and did not make it, the lota lota is doing well, so is the chinese perch.

The small fishes were lap up by another exporter, so only left with rainbow bitterlings, hill stream catfihes, royal loaches and black paradise fish.

tE ROYAL LOACH WAS SPECAILLY PICKED- So they are tiger striped, with yellow base- very nice.
Well post some pic this weekend.
