So did the 7" mono that passed only grow 7 inches in a whole year?

Yes I bought 3 mono's in april last year at about 2". Two of them have grown very well to about 10-11" but the other just grew a lot slower. I have no idea why they were eating the same and in the same tank.

What they eating?

Three of them are eating bloodworm and occasionally a bit of white bait when they take it. One of them won't eat anything that doesn't move, I think he's the one your noticing. I hoped he would copy the others and eat bloodworm but no luck as yet. I can only get him to eat worms or white bait when I drop it by the filter outlet. Even then it's still hard to get him to eat. I guess he want's live fish but as you know that's not really do-able in the UK.
Any tips would be great, suggested foods etc...

Umm at least there eating frozen. Its taken me about 2-3 months to get my one to take meaty food.

One died as it would only eat live. But the rest of the batch that wharf got in died. So out of about 12 only one has lived
