Arapaima, anyway, in chinese '' JU LONG YU'', means Great Dragon Fish. People (chinese) do believe, dragon brings luck & prosperity.

traditional chinese thinking.some arapaimas have lost their slime coat on their back due to the belief that touching it will bring them luck.
i wonder when they will try to touch a komodo dragon,or crocodile as it will bring them luck.

all right, at least some update now.

i went to XIANG LENG AQUARIA (SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA) yesterday.

Bought a bichir yesterday, and took some photos of pimas.

9inches++ bichir, RM 150 ( us$ 40 after convert).
