may I add some infos on this beautifull fish ??
As a lot of you know, he can be found here in Brasil too, in tha Amazon basin.
His name, Pirarucu comes from two indian names: Pira (that means fish) and Urucum (red) - name given 'cause of his tail color.

hi vinson lim, u are totally crazy about PIMA! and my advice to you, u should keep atleast one araipama in ur place and it probably the best way for u to stop running around looking for pima. LOL . maybe u should come to lfs in sungai bakau, rawang. there got about 3 huge pima.

hey vinson, heres some pic from LYE HUAT GARDEN in Kedah. Man, they have a great amazon exhibit man..the pima are even bigger than klcc..plus countless arowana exhibit and tigers..a must go destination if u happen to go up north.cheers.( sry for the poor pic-quality )
