more than one fahaka puffer . does and body here have more then on from experience

on here there may not be any experience, but on the puffer forum they had a experienced member try to breed fahaka's once... long story short, they beat the crap out of each other THROUGH a heavily locked in divider, one was manned real bad and the jumped out the tank... both ended up dead...

So in short, never ever try to keep two together unless you maybe have a 3000+ Gallon tank then MAYBE, and only maybe they might just get along...

Yeah, at the end of the day its just not worth risking it, especially since most people will agree that fahaka's are quite possibly the most aggressive of all the puffer species...

I believe one fahaka even jumped into another's tank to kill one, so be sure the tanks are nowhere near each other & tight-fitting, heavy lids are on top.

Thats crazy to hear that a fahaka literally jumped from one tank to another... impressive... although scary

Hi guys. I recently got a fahaka that was in perfect health and placeed it in my 125g. Cut the long story short, it's been pretty inactive (any possible explanations?) and when another of my tank broke down (someone threw rocks) i fearfully added my armatus and stingrays in (i know, bad idea). However, what happened is that the puffer has only been occupying the left end of the tank and the stingrays on the right. There have been no fins nipped or any signs of bullying whatsoever. Any explanations?
