i estimate about 8-9 inches. and no, these aint your usual x-back colors. ordinary x-backs would be lucky to have a strip or small patch of gold on their heads and gold crossing on scales take quite some time on normal x-backs. as you see in the pics, the gold frames are way up the back! these are extra special, not ur common LFS finds in asia. GH are produced more regularly nowadays compared to about 5-6 years ago when people started to really isolate the breeding of this variety, but still quite rare and may command insane prices!

Yeah feels like they are in a "super production" phase since I see quite a few from these recent batches. But for every GH produced in a batch, there are at least another 9 siblings that are not as outstanding.

yep, heard about that too. never such a thing as a perfect batch, always there are price differences between sibling aros. some even have different body types and fin shapes even if they come from the same brood. much like me and my siblings, LOL:ROFL:

Correct...since champion aros not necessarily produce similar quality babies. Guess that means I must have got the short end of the stick LOL.

i think it depends on who's judging....if my wife is one of 'em id be graded AAAA, LOL!

Anyone has any idea as to how much these young ones cost? a ball park figure will do.

Out of the batch, the individuals where graded on their own hence prices range from USD5K onwards. The best 3 of the lot are already swimming around overseas.
