This is "ROOSTER" he has a 2" streamer on his tail . he's had it for about 3 years after having his tail bit and split and this is the way it grew back . Anybody else have fish with morphed fins ? Post a pic !

Thanks , iv'e had a few over the years that have had something like this . It is different and unique .
He has had it bit off a couple times and the odd thing is it grows back the same way everytime , thought it might grow back normal but it dose'nt . Nice looking Caribe Welsher7 , i have seen coloration stem off into the dorsal fin and also the tail fin ie. on a Caribe and Red Belly , cool thing is it wont fade with age , atleast not on the ones i have seen and have had in past years . How long have you had him ?
I have only had my 3 cariba for just over a year now, but I think they are around 4-5yrs old. I have been thinking about picking up a 2 or 3 more but not sure how that would work in my 125g.
I guess i would have to ask how big are the three now and how big do you want them to get, and also i would get some of the same size if you do choose to add more . It probly wouldn't be long before you would want to upgrade to something bigger if you added more .
