Hey Welsher7 if the fish you were looking to add to your three that were on another site ( we wont mention any names ) they looked sweet and the price was more than right !:thumbsup:
 
its a evolutionary change so when other fish bite, they will bite the long fins instead of the fish. same with the red on the fin, its to distract the other fish, especially the fin biters in their natural habitat. think of the smaller serrasalmus that feed almost exlusively on fins and scales, this gives them something to feed, without it puncturing the actual fish skin/

Makes perfect sense , it is everchanging adaopt or be eaten ,or have something vital bitten !
 
Can't believe no other fish bit this off.

haha X2...if they would nibble his regular fin, they would certainly go after a fin that looks like a streamer
