i have also seen these fish, they look mid sized fish but poor quality labelling which is a shame,

yeah poor quality labelling should be frowned upon

He normally sells assams as bleheri.

i dont keep any channa atm mate, looking into getting one to finish off my tank though, i wont buy unless i know exactly what im getting..what channa do you have?

well where to start,i keep the following,
aurantimaculata.
bleheri.
assam.
4 or 5 different indian gachuas.
sp lipor
sp moonbeam galaxy
4 different stewarti variants.
channa ornatipinnis.
channa pulchra.
channa burmanica.
fire and ice.
sp redfin.
sp mimetic pulchra.
orientalis kottowa A.
malayan black rim gachua.
and a couple of unknown gachuas from myanmar/thailand.
most are paired off,but some are in groups.ive managed to breed 4 or 5 different species to date.its my main fish keeping intrest,but i do som wild bettas aswell.

quite a lot then..lol. im after a decent size channa but not sure what to go for like. any ideas? im keeping a striped raphael catfish and an albino oscar atm, both juvenile too.
