i was just wondering about the of mosquito larva in the new england area in the up coming spring , mainly because of triple e virus!!!help!!!!!!!!!!!1 :(

Are you worried about getting the virus when collecting larvae for your fish or giving it to your fish by feeding them the larvae?I doubt the fish would be affected

Larva are safe Mosquitoes pick up diseases while feeding on disease hosts, just make sure they get eaten before turning into adults.

thats blood worms, right?

No the mosquito larvae are weirder looking than worms, the blood worms are midge fly larvae, nothing better than moquito larvae for betta food.

Just make sure you dont collect them from polluted areas.
You might transfer toxic substances like merc or lead to your fish.

i put a bucket full of water outside and every two days run a net through it and just put them strait in with the fish
