Ok I was kinda thinking that, but wasn't sure since they moved in such a different way than they do in the larval stage

So these worms things, I may have just introduced, I had a bucket of sand I cleaned out for a tank I'm setting up, I knew it would be a while before I could set the tank up, so I thought rather than let the sand just sit there dry, maybe I can jump start the beneficial bacteria. So I filled the rest of the bucket with water, put my seasoned filter media in there and also put a few magnolia leaves and seed pods in there. Turns out it took more like a month and I forgot about the bucket. The lid was on but not sealed. Anyway, I just put the tank on the stand went to get my sand and it stank (obviously) so I decided to dump the water into that hanging flower pot because it had these little white things skipping across the surface (under the surface) that I'm assuming are some sort of copepods, but I can't get a real picture of them, but then I noticed these worms. Any idea what they are? I'm so interested in all these micro organisms that I've been finding
