So there are no native gambusia in NY, so the gambusia are probably intergrades (hybrids of Affinis and Holbrooki) but mostly likely Affinis as they can survive cold water better. The blue ones are def Affinis because i have one but she was 4 years old and little humpback (more common traits in very old livebearers). But since your mosquitofish come from the feeder tanks, the chances that they are Holbrooki.
