So I just recently changed my moss in my fbt tank on October 2nd and it's all perishing and turning into a blackish color!! Have any advice?

Get Pillow Moss from the southern States.......The Northern stuff seems to wither away quick and never really takes hold......

I have bad luck with ALL moss so if you get something working let me know how you did it.....
When I try it either dies or spawns fungus like crazy....

Use rain water to water it. Tap water is usually deadly to mosses, ferns, and bromiliads.

Also you could try java moss. Nothing kills that stuff and it grows like mad in FBT tanks.

Never heard that about tap water. I use aged tap water in all my tanks and have never had a brom, moss or fern problem.

I have had times were I had moss last months and other times were it lasts a few weeks. I don't remember the name of it, but there is another plant that looks just like moss. I can't be positive if I am using moss or that other similar name that I can't even spell.
