I've seen intructions on how to make a DIY moss wall and I think i'm going to try it on my 20 gallon. I wanted to see if anyone had pics they could share of theirs if they had any. also I have a heater and a filter intake tube on the back glass of my aquarium (where I intend to place the wall) should I just leave them there?

any advice would be appreciated

yes exactly what I was thinking of , thanks

will do

When I've seen those in the past, I'd say the worst thing you can do for those is let them grow too bushy. Then the insides that are actually attached to the grate that you're using for a wall will detach, and you'll be back to a big moss ball. Keep it trimmed and it should maintain nice color and thickness. Since there's probably not much you can do about the filter intake tube, I'd leave 'em both there. Good luck man, and keep us posted!!

If that doesn't work, there are tutorials over at Tropical Fish Forums about making walls out of riccia and java moss.

I'll be using riccia in an upcoming planted I will set up soon, it looks really cool when finished, but so does that Christmas Moss, I'll see if I can get some from my LFS
