Moss?

Pain the butt. Thats all i can say and it will make a big mess and get stuck in filters. Thats my 2 cents i hate it. I have attempted tieing down and weighting down but it falls one way or the other

Hm i never heard a complaint about it...is it that big of a problem??

Yeah, it makes a LOT of sediment. I'd go with green hair algae instead.

It can be, especially the faster growing ones since you have to re-tie them down fairly often and the little bits of moss can come off and clog filters...

Java Moss is good stuff. It does great in low light and can adapt to most water hardness for "freshwater." If you attach it to wood/rock, fishing line like the other guys said works great. I would not attach it near Anubias or Java Ferns because it tends to choke them out (if you wanted those plants too). I've only bought it once and have never had a shortage. Your filtered window light should feed it well.
