Most Active Species of Bichirs?

i find that in the night hours even if the lights are on all my bichirs get reall active..

huh? if you have planaria outbreak should mean you are overfeeding. if you problem is that your bichirs are more active at night, buy a moon light so you can see them.

no they were because i used a net from a feeder tank the planarias already dieing down but im going to change the subdstrate anwyays cus i have gravel and ive read that bichirs like sand more
 
really? i dont have a sen but my ornate is ACTIVE. maybe ill get one now because thatd mean thee send be like rocketing around the tank
 
I have 2 larger sens (8 inches) and a smaller one (4-5 inches). I also have 2 Delhezis (5-7 inches). The sens seem to be the most active. I would've assumed that no particular species of bichir was more likely to be more active than another, but it appears that most of the people on this thread are voting for sens. Interesting . . .
 
In my experience with my bichirs i would have to say that P Polli are the most active and after that comes sen then ornate then endli then congi then del,this is based on my bichirs only.
Ive just got 3 ansorgii so il see how they act.
