Hello !
Im planning to start again keeping wolf fish.
I was having erythrinus sp.peru and fish was active, swiming around the tank.

Im wondering if there is wolf known from beeing super active ''wolf'' ?
I mean not active because one person had an active one, but wolf that is active by specie. Although i know that wolfs are rather not so active fishes, but im searching for the active one.
( Hoplerythrinus, Erythrinus, Hoplias are the types you could post, please)

Regards.

The gold and the red wolf fish are pretty active and they don't get as big as some of the other types.

Do you know scientific name of gold wolf ?

Regards

Not sure on the Red Wolf Scientific Name but I think you may need a ...

Aimara, Super active, like oscars, very responsive to humans.

downside/upside they are super aggressive, to the point you don't put your hands near the tank without a 1/2 inch of glass between you and captain happy fins

I would not even know where to begin looking for a Hoplias aimara
