Deep in the backwoods of AL there lives a deranged fishkeeper working on a new and deadly hybrid...it's a cross between the Red Tailed Catfish and the walking catfish.

Once he completes his project nothing will be safe...

I vote bagarius yarelli aka (THE DEVIL CAT)!!!!

I was at the pet store today and bought an asian red tail cat and I am going to see if he can hold up with my jack dempsy and my powder blue cichlid in my 30 gal. My Red Tail Cat had to be moved to the 50 gal last week because Jacky Boy (my jack dempsy) bit his eye. He is healing now and should make a full recovery. Any suggestions about good tank-mates for my asian rtc? Or should I leave him with my cichlids? Thanks!

Sounds interesting, but all of these to include hybrids are banned from the USA.

Pretty much the same fish(Wyckii/AsianRTC). I personally had a Asian RTC and at 4" he beat everything he was in the tank with. 7" Jaguars,6" Juruense,7" Trachycorytes all fell victim to his wrath. On another note Trachycorystes are labeled as aggressive, however I have 4 from 5" to 8" and they have never shown any signs of aggression. They even share hiding spots with my Jaguar cats. They are awesome cats though extremely wide heads and body almost like a South American Asian Redtail cat.
