Most aggresive Fresh water cat fish???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my wyckii though is just 4"+ is pretty aggressive
first tried to keep a 3" jag and every day morning more and more fins of the jag were lost
then tried to keep a 3.5-4" FH and the first day everything looked alright and so did the second day, but the third couldn't find the FH in the tank searched around the tank, did not find him, lost all hope and opened the hood to feed my cat and there the FH was missing quite a few scales and an eye and shredded fins, fed the FH to my RTC, didn't want him to die slowly
anyways now he is 5"+ and is in his own 45g
always hides rarely shows his ugly mug and keeps vandalizing the the rocks used for decor and to create hiding places, can move rocks 4-5 times heavier than it just with a flick.*gotta remove those rocks and keep just driftwood*

hey no one even named the indian shovel nosed catfish, though on most sites it says they are not aggressive, the previous one i had was the devil himself i guess

Coolest thing about my Asian RTC is for some unknown reason he will jam his head down into the sand all the way to his gills. He looks so awesome in that totally vertical ostrich like pose. I actually think he's attempting to attack the sand. He jams his head down so violently and flicks his tail all over the place like he's trying to burrow straight thru. Strangest think I've ever seen a cat do. Just thought I'd mention it.

;) there you go have the site saved from ages ago when i got my one.
attu don't get 300cm thats 10 feet isn't it more like 6 feet

wallago attu or hemibagrus variegatus or wyckii but i've heard of wyckii being kept with fish much larger in huge aquariums all hemibagrus tend to be aggressive they seem to like slaming into tankmates and biteing them most if not all are nasty fish
