Most aggressive aquarium fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Actually GW equally aggressive. But less reported attacks since tiger sharks can be found in the shallows, where they are bound to encounter human. But GW usually only swim in the middle of the ocean, where few people are.
you need to do some researches! great white try to eat any thing they see like boat and people! tiger shark begin killing each other since they hatch in their mother's body! and the Great white has more report of attack people then tiger!
there are also some reports of GW come to the harbors and eat .....................................boat!

I'm surprised no one has brought up the payara...

There mean lookin fish with nasty teeth.

I have payara. They are about as mean as mollies.

aren't exodons super aggresive?? yeah they are small but a big school would be really cool to have and fun to watch during feeding

Wow someone finally thinks easily owned saltwater. Triggers can be some of the nastiest fish kept in the hobbies, although so can some moray eels. I have seen pics of them biting clean threw bone, and some will attach people as small as 8 inch, trust me I have had a snowflake attack me.

Pardon me, but the info about GW trying to eat anything like boat and people is false. There was this diver with balls of steel who video-taped himself swimming together with a large great white shark and even reach out to touch it. Also, the tiger shark will eat just about anything, from the sea turtles and seals that make up the main part of its diet, to more exotic items like rubber tires, beer bottles, nails, driver's licenses, explosives, clothes, a crocodile head, cats, pigs and a chicken coop with all its inhabitants. And the number of GW coming to the shallows is insignificant compared to the tiger or the bull shark.

Here is the video of the GW

I believe in terms of aggressiveness, both sharks are on par and only attacks what they think is food. But what sets the GW apart is the size. It can deliver a fatal bite much more easily than a tiger.

lol put a piranha in with any fish around the same size and it will never lose

How about an Aimara? The ferocity of piranha doesn't come from an individual but from the pack. Alone, it won't stand a chance against a wolf fish of similar size.

I still think that the giant snakehead with give the aimara a serious run for its money. It's a feeding time only aggression though.

Although I'm normally not amused by such displays it would be interesting to see an aimara and this giant snakehead in the same tank,I'm talking with both of them fully grown. How big does the GS grow to?....I'm not sure which stores sell great white and tiger sharks but the bamboo and horn sharks I've kept were not aggressive at all.
