Wallago attu

In Bengal and Assam, it is known as Boal. Its common to find huge frogs and fishes inside its stomach, when cut for cooking. It has been claimed that in some areas of Thailand the natives fear the species because of its believed habit of eating small ducks, dogs, and small children. It is thought the Tapah became this aggressive due to natives laying to rest their dead in the water. The catfish would then see this as a ready supply of food.

like most have said, depends. i've seen a dwarf Peruvian puffer be the biggest meanest friggin jerk in the tank, and i've seen jardini arows get along fine with tinfoils and oscars. i do have a peacock bass and while highly "aggressive" with feeding, fine with oscars and clown knives. never had a snakehead.

Depends on the situation..

Sharks, Pirhanas, and Puffers all have a big bite, but not the personality to be deemed 'aggressive'.. just predatory.

Dovii, and Buttikoferi are very rowdy cichlids..

but nothing compares to the mentality and jaw-structure of a Channa.. wolf fish, and many others don't have this instant killer instinct nor the razor sharp jaw-line to rip, shred, and destroy..

Snakehead, hands down.. have had this conversation before.
