My AL spotted bass is very territorial and has killed 3 bluegills, all at least half it's size and the largest was the same total length. He also gets to any food dropped in the tank in less than 1 second meaning I have to feed a good amount at the same time just for my other fish to be able to eat...and by other fish I mean a 18" fire eel that's pretty timid except for feeding time, an 11" yellow perch that pants like a puppy at the surface for food and a 7" swordspine snook that is sneaky and fast. But my 6" AL spot beatas them all. He's eaten 2 nightcrawlers meant for the eel in one feeding, both worms were longer than him and he snatched them both right out of my fingers. His stomach was so distended I thought he would regurgetate them back up. So when I put some feeders in for the snook and perch he went and ate 2 1.5" comets on top of the nightcrawlers. He looked just like a miniature version of those crazy fat females ripe with roe that look like they can't even swim because of their bellies.

I guess this means my AL spot gets the vote for me.
I totally agree that spotteds are the most aggressive bass Ive caught, they have spotted/ smallmouths hybrids here that fight like a bass twice theyre size.

I have owned Green Sunfish, and have caught the most aggressive bass IMHO the Spotted/Smallmouth hybrids we have here, and Im telling you if you go by size a three spiked Stickleback is one of the meanest fish in the world (if you dont believe me put a2-3 inch three spiked Stickleback in a tank with similar 2-3inch fish and see what happens). If you want to look at BIG aggressive fish I will have to say that a similar sized pound for pound Alligator Gar will most probably destory any Bass (Smallmouth, Spotted, Shoal , Largemouth etc.), I truely believe only the Northern Pike is really any competition in the Natives category.

Gar coexist well with all species of bass. Gar are only aggressive when feeding. You want an aggressive bass and I would say the Shoal Bass. I have a 5 inch Shoal that DOES NOT accept any kind of tankmate, and when moving decor he will try to take fingers

mine would have to be lmb or greensunfish, once i was bowfishing with artificial red fletchings on the back of the arrows. I shot and misseed the lmb and it turned and actually bit the red fletchings. I've also had green sunfish that would take my fingers whenever i grabbed a leaf or something on the top of my pond

Green sunfish are mean in a cichlid kind of way. They are punks. As for the nastiest predator, my vote goes to the northern pike or alligator gar.

Id have to say tiger shark. hahaha but really id say a Flathead cat
