Most Agressive Cichlids

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Tell my cichlids in my 220 that lol. They can hold their own even when my trimac was in there and they get a good 12" and a couple of mine are pushing 7-8" now and are mean as hell, but I love them :p:p

However I see the op said cichlids now so sorry lol

Yup.....The Hait gets no love here. They're 16+" of mean.

My Hait would tear up anything in the Amphilophus genus (RD/Midas/Trimac), and anything except Dovii in the Parachromis genus.

I'd put them right under Dovii and Umbee just due to size.

YES! I've never had the opportunity of owning one of these (mainly due to how aggressive I hear they are), but they're at the top of my list when I move into my own house.

I agree with the breeding convicts though. Most cichlids are aggressive to each other, but when I reach into the tank to scrub the glass or clean the gravel they cower in fear of the almighty human arm. Breeding convicts will just bite you relentlessly!

Everyone's fish is different, thats why these lists are so differing and it makes it interesting to see other peoples opions

I think GTs are aggressive too, But when it comes to fights, i think doviis would own.
On a scale of 1-10 how aggressive are pikes? (1=not aggressive)
