Here's one to  over!

Was at a LFS yesterday that pretty much only deals in corals. I really was planning on purchasing this puppy until I was told what the price tag was. $350 bucks! Yikes:nilly:
Picture was taken on my crappy iphone 3G. Before anyone asks, no there has been no color adjusting or any other adjustments. Just imagine what it looks like first hand!!

ya thats pretty standard for doughnut corals sadly... and this is a very nice sepcimin so makes even more sence.

Wow, at first I saw this, and I thought you had bought it. Drooling over here.

I have one picked out on another site that I like...its been there a couple months, and if it sits there a couple more it will be coming to my house. :D

:D

I left the store with sadness in my heart! lol
If I would have bought this guy I would be filing for divorce right now.:irked:
Wish I had something even close to how sweet this one was.

I love scolys and weslos. Weslos are typically more affordable, and can have just as good coloration.

There is no reason for scolys to be as expensive as they are, but its just like the Acan rage... you are going to pay an arm and a leg unless it is brown or yellow.

Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do! :D

Search some of the high end coral sites. They have much more affordable ones, but usually not coloration like that. You must have a nice lfs, because colors like that usually arent in the $300 range, or at least the lower portion.

I plan on doing both...by next christmas my tank should be fully stocked.

Savin pennies. :D

"Incrediscoly" I have seen this name go with a $1200+ price tag.

That wont be happening. To be honest, I wasnt too flattered with that particular coral anyways.

You would not be a happy camper. Haha

I think most people that buy $1200 corals are fairly ready to care for it.

That being said, accidents happen, and that just stinks.
