The green terror is the only one with a common name

If color is your main priority you would do best to stay with the Africans as IMO no CA/SA rivals them in color. However when I kept Africans I found them to grow quite boring I know some people are into them just not my cup of tea. For me where CA/SA shines is on the behavior/personality department I feel to get the best experience out of new world cichlids is to look for personality/behavior first and color second

Can anyone name some different Severums? So far there's a common green one, gold and super red. Are there any other variations?

I'll ask again what size tank do you have. Pointless to get recommendations on fish if we dont have the most important peice of the puzzle
