Hey, wait a minute here, I won't let asian aros ake all the votes, Black aros have by far the greatest juvenile coloration and if well maintained, IMO, rival the best of the asians. Their body shape is much more elegant and they have looks that could kill. BTW, anyone know where I could find one near boston? I've been looking for a baby black ever since I've los mine and I haven't seen one in almost 2 years. I've seen more asian aros in that time!
I like Silver arowana because of its look and also coming from the same water as pleco (South America). To me, silver is the tankmate of my royal pleco...but they're compliment to each other so well..
i'll go with black aros, are awsome when there young, grow at a steady pace, have the graceful silver aro movement pattern, and when they get larger, the still retain some of the colors on there fins...can't wait to get one.
