Most expensive feeder ( intentional or not !)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I lost five barbatus corys to my tiger shovelnose in one night as well as the twenty white clouds that i bought as feeders

The overall most expensive was losing 27 Green tiger barbs to my Texan. But the most pricey individual fish was 2 10" Arawana's (the second was free)...

I'm still pissed about it...

2 female bettas, many mollies, guppies, a striped raphael catfish, and many many crustaceans all went down the gullet of my prized male crayfish Skit.

One i remember well was my 9 inch black arowana. Arowanas were hard to come by that year and that was the first time my lfs had one. It got eaten overnight by my rays. Found 5 scales on the tank bottom. =(
My most expensive feeder was a common goldfish. Cuz the plastic bag leaked on the way home causing me to slam the car into a tree.!!!

I lost a $40 gold nugget pleco to a 9" tiger oscar...didnt even eat it. He just chewed up its head and spit it out.

he might answer you if the last time he was on the boards was sooner than 2 1/2 years :ROFL:

way to dig up an old thread:headbang2

3x $1 zebra danios

A couple nights ago I almost lost an $8 albino bichir to a bigger sen. bichir. I was watching so very little if any harm was done. If I had left them together I'm sure it would have been a feeder.

This is one topic that I'm glad I'm not the winner
