Until I started reading this thread I thought my F1 uaru fernandezyepezis at $125 were expensive. After reading it, I think I can justify spending just about any amount for something I really, really want and plan to keep forever.

hmmm, flower stingray for $250. I have fish though which I bought for around $100 but are now worth around the $300 range. I was going to buy a $700 aussie lungfish, I even paid for part of it but sadly the order did not happen. I think this a lot for me b/c I'm only 16.
When I was younger me and my brother both got a northern pike from our pet store. They were $20 each... Ended up dying about 5 days later from what we think was diseased gold fish..
Im looking to buy either a needle nose gar or a grass pickerel but there are no fish stores around anymore, all the big box company's like petsmart and petco took them all out by me. Sad
