most expensive fish i bought 250 for a marble motoro, the next expensive one is my kelberi peacock bass, i think i paid 175.. my most expensive thing in the tank is a fly river.. which i got for free from my cousin who couldnt keep all three together.. i dont know how much its worth now.. but his shell is 13 inches big

The most i've paid is probably around 20-30 for some julidochromis transcriptus. On the other hand, I had a friend in elementary school who was a big catfish fanatic (along with his dad), and they had some little rare synodontis that they paid 700$ for.
