my most expensive fish was a baby redtail cat that i bought in 1991. cost me £80 (and £80 was a lot of money those days - especially for a 13year old boy) it was a tiny speciman (around 2-3") grew to 24" in a year or so and percy died in winter due to electric power failure. next purchase was a pair of Brachasynodontis Batensoda (5") that cost me £50 each and since that time i havent seen any in the hobby since. . . extinct?
