Oh that's cool. My parents don't like the pond idea too much plus I'm going to study sooner or later so not really worth it at this point.
The air temperature rarely drops below the temperatures you mentioned, but in summer it hits 30-35°C (86-95°f) so pond goldies would be difficult to look after. Always an excuse for an undercover pond

Koi and fancies are some of my favorites. Though I don’t keep anything high end myself.
The most I’ve spent on a single fish is $40 on a koi. And the most in one shopping trip $120 I think it was. Bought guppies and koi.
Im not comfortable yet with the idea of spending too much on a single fish. While I’ve learned a lot since getting into the hobby, I still have a lot to learn I’m sure. So I’ll be happy with my cheap fish. Haha.

I spent $900 for a male FH and 1200 for his mate so 2100 out the door made back about 1K selling fry then sold the pair for 1800
Gross profit of $700. The net would be less because of housing, feeding, and what not but still a profit overall most likely.
My most expensive fish bought would be my King kamfa pearl A Grade he was 80 dollars at only 4 inches
Most I have ever paid so far is $100. My 10" Ornate bichir. Also my Datnoid was $100 as well when I bought him at 4" this past spring. I have a hard time justifying paying more than that for a fish. I usually like to try to keep it between $20-$40 most times unless its something I REALY want.
