Single fish. $45 Ornatus catfish
Group of fish. $100 5 silver dollar's
Biggest purchase (inc shipping) $209. My new group of h. Carpintis & a. Sagittae (from Rapps)
We're those silver dollars the tiger ones from live aquarias diversden?

That's the LEAST I've paid for a saltwater fish. For reference, I paid $120 USD for a yellow tang. A week later I saw a place in the US(One of the bigger marine fish suppliers, can't remember the name now) selling them for $2 each.

So, yeah, Yellow Tang for about $120usd, and they're pretty inexpensive as far as marine fixsh go. Or ornate bichir for about the same.
Good luck getting an individual yellow tang for $2. The only way to pay that price is to buy enough wholesale quantity and the shipping and doa is what brings the price up.
$60 is the least you've paid for a saltwater fish? I assume you never had a occelaris clown fish then?
And yes, saltwater fish are much more expensive then freshwater. Cheapest freshwater fish I've seen for sale was $0.13. Cheapest saltwater was $5.99.

Is it because of your location that makes them cost so much?

Yep, lots of shipping, expensive quarantine facility, minimum 4 week quarantine, have to pay for multiple inspections, entire shipment could be destroyed if an infection is found, only 2-3 quarantine facilities in the country, entire country selling less marine stock in a year than a moderate sized US city does in a month...It adds up.
