This may sound somewhat weak in comparison to everything everyone else is posting, but I feel that rummy nose tetras deserve some recognition. Their schooling behavior makes them so great to watch. Imagine 100+ of those suckers swimming in a nice planted tank.

I think gars are very cool and fun to look at. When feeding they are even better to see. I also think a arrowanna would be cool. Or schooling fish like some tetras.

for freshwater i would have to say some atf's, an arapima, some payara, and a black arowana. good thing i have them all.lol
