i bow to you. you deserve to be on this website. i hate rats though. you should cook em up on the grill and feed them to your squirrel!

haha, the rats actually started out as breeders for snake food but now most of the snakes are on f/t but these rats are so nice, we don't have the heart to feed them!

nice pics. But i was wondering no chinchilla or sugarglider?

I worked at a pet store for a while so I had everything you could imagine at the pet store including sugargliders, chinchilla, shorttail opposums, prairie dogs, etc. at this point its all what we can care for and we have our hands full! I would get a sugar glider if anything.

Food bill must be outrageous

yeah we pay more monthly for our animals than ourselves. we go grocery shopping for the fish and reptiles and we get them all the healthy stuff and then we end up getting frozen foods for ourselves. it was sooo nice when I worked at a pet store with 30% off and I could special order anything I wanted

I have 1 more animal to add to your care Homo Sapien Thats me :)

It is very impressive that your bowfin has retained such a pattern at that size.

My late uncle befriended several grey squirrels that lived in his yard. He would sit on his deck and they would come sit on his lap and shoulders to be hand fed, but they didn't really trust anyone else. If you sat with him they'd keep their distance and watch until you got in your car and started to leave, then you'd see them run up to him. Is your squirrel friendly and trusting to others or just the two of you?

Wow! My wife's allergies would go crazy at your house! Great collection tho.

yeah, my husband has allergies to cats. If he plays with them too rough or if they lay on him he starts getting weezy but other than that they don't seem to bother us. The cats are not allowed in the bedrooms where we sleep and where the small animals live.

He is trusting of others if you give him time. If he sees a group of people, he's very cautious to make sure we are in the group, and we have a peanut jar that is his so we just shake it and he knows. It takes him a bit longer to come around to other people but he eventually will warm up and be climbing them for snacks. I am careful of who I show him to though just because I don't want anyone else trying to catch him or take him inside their house
