What is the most personable fish for a 29gal that will get along with another fish or two?
Thanks!

Man I love little convicts. I have spent 100s of dollars on fish and my $3 convict is one of my favorites.

no other opinions?

If you plan on upgrading, datnoids are very personable once they get to know you ;)

those sound good but i was looking for a fish that would be fine with a few others and neither bettas nor puffers are known for their friendliness toward others...

i would like to upgrade but prob not untill next fall so i think they are out of the question :/

oh yea and it needs to be something that wont be eaten by my rope fish...:D

The datnoid would be fine with the ropefish, plus they grow slower than most fish, so you should be good for a couple of years if you get a little one ;)

I love Bettas. You could have a little community of female Bettas. Female Bettas are good comunity fish in my experiences. So are male bettas as long as they are the only Betta. I had a Betta with a plethera of different comunity fish.

Its the fish with long flowy fins that they have problems with.

I had a Ropefish once. I sold him while he was still under 10". They have small mouths, so I had Bettas with mine for the whole time I had him. He never had a go at them.

Depends on how big he is.
