most ridiculous fish mixes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've got one crazier...it was supposed to be temporary until I got another tank but its actually working well for now...I have a huge tank with a natural pond like setup with 2 6" Pacus a 6-7" Senegal 2 Bullhead fry about 1" a 2" pictus a 5" American eel and 2 tadpoles with their back legs coming in....but that's all for the fish, I also have my baby turtle in the same setup. Believe it or not the turtle only chases the pictus once in a while but can never catch him...the Pacus seem to be the dominate ones in the tank but still don't harm any of the other guys (they just try to steal all the food during feeding time) I'm in the middle of my pond project now so when the turtle gets too aggressive that's where she's going. Also I have 2 more tanks running for if any of the fish get into trouble lol.

1 JD
2 bichir
2 clown knifefish
1 pike cichlid
1 dragonfish
1 african butterfly
1 dead kory inside one of the bichir lmao!

worldwide mix for me

7" giant gourami
5" flagtail
5" chocolate cichlid
6" asian upside down catfish
18" pleco
x2 Ornate bichirs 7" + 5"
5" delhezi bichir
5" short body senegal
6" one eyed Clown knife
5" pink tailed chalceus
2-3" Indo datnoid

until recently I had a shoal of 8 columbian tetras and 4 black skirts, both the shoals were 8 years old now and have all died of old age except one of each. vall the fish are extremely well behaved and take pellets except the Dat. the clown knife eats pellets along with the bichirs, my smaller ornate and CK share the same cave and rub up against eachother. they are like best buddies which is weird.

The dat although the smallest actually is very aggressive to the other fish and he is super quick. hopefully he will follow the others in eating pellets.

tank is a 225 3' wide

I currently have a 13" ck, 12" aro,14" tsn, 10"rtc, 8" endli and a 6" pleco together in harmony in a 85 gallon like a boss

Wow and you tell people about it :screwy:
