The new strains of quality kamfa are easily the most sought after and expensive. Like the tan king for example.
A show quality fertile Red Texas is the white buffalo of the flowerhorn world.
Gold Monkeys are sought after as well because they have became quiet rare. I dont know why.
The most sought after breed I would say is Kamfa. Most available is ZZ. As far as the most sought after strain, well thats personal taste and individual quality of the fish.

To be exact, Tan King is not easy to be found. Maybe the modern Tan King, it lies side by side with the modern GM. But if you want to talk about originality, Tan King is just as tough as true Indo KGM.
FYI - Tan King is not new, TK came before KK. Heck, KK is getting near to that point that it's not even new anymore. :D

I didnt say they were easy to come across. Im sure there are alot of zz x Kamfa on the market, but not the line bred quality TK's from vietnam.
All these marketing terms like KGM and KK and Oriental beauty just give me a headache. For example, Golden Apples use to anilate competitions, But where are they at now?
Its all about the kamfa monster koks. The KK.
People get trademark and strain mixed up which leads to alot of confusion.

My apologies, I red it wrong. But as far as it being a marketing terms, I don't think it is a marketing term. It is an actual strain through specific selective breeding for the purpose of certain trait or looks of the fish. All KGM have something similar, all SML have something similar and so on. KGM, SML, KGMF, MK etc all falls in the GM category. So can you say a RD is a marketing term too? :D

This is my dream fish right here!!!!! It was labeled as a Platinum Red Texas, but I am sure that this not just a Red Texas!!! Either way, I would love to breed something like this some day!!!

^Thats a show winner, if he had the kok! Nice fish.
Red devil, Green terror, Red Terror, Jack dempsey, Jaguar, Royal acara, Pearlscale. All marketing terms. Yes they are common names which are easier to say and remember, But thats why they are used. For marketing. Same goes with Rainbow king diamond monkeyhorn.
Im not up on terms like SML, KGMF, MK,. What I can say is that there are 4 actual breeds of flowerhorn, The rest are just trademark strains from the 4 breeds. For example Kamfa x GM has been done many of times create several different fish with different traits. When the traits match the criteria for that fish (KGM for ex. with the brain pattern kok and pearls) than thats when its classified as a KGM.
Like if you cross GM with ZZ your not going to get Indomalau everytime. Thats why I disagree with trademarks being labeled as strains.

how much do you think this fish would go for?

Big_One I tried to stay away from this but I couldn't, so sorry. You stated something about an Orginal "Indo" KGM? Just a question, maybe Im wrong... but I thought OG-KGM were from Malaysia?

Anyway to answer your question, it depends on the person and what they like. I have owned really nice MP fish in my past. I always look for something different. My dream FH at the moment is a MP SRT, MP RBK or MP RM/RS. Bad part about that is most of these strains are not fertile. As Im an inspiring breeder that hinders my use for such fish. With that being said my dream breeder would be:

King Kamfa x Titanium / Result x SRT / Result x HB Mammon - This is what Im working on.

Also I think bro Philly has the best Kamfa in America Hands Down!!!
