Most versatile tank size?

a 75g will let you keep the vast majority of commonly available fish, if you're in a dorm room and want something exotic there's no real need to go over 20G IMO.. there are plenty of small fish, or relatively inactive fish that are every bit as interesting as the monsters most of the people here are into.


I think the smallest I would ever like to go is a 50 gallon tank, but that is only if space is an issue for you.


Well even though I'm currently in an apartment I started this thread to get more info for what I'm planning to do once I have my own house. I figure I won't have a huge amount of money once I'm done and I want to get the best value for the little amount of money I will have.
 
250 will be good for me... until I get more monsterfish!!!
