Hey guys. Simple question, what is the most vicious snakehead species? I'm talking about size and aggressiveness.
My friend thinks its Channa argus but i personally think its Channa micropeltes. Whats do you MFK's think?

micropeltes would be very aggressive, ive often heard the same argument about piranhas, which species is the most dangerous or aggressive?, i would say the most hungry would be the most aggressive

Micropeltes are really nice snakeheads to own & overrated in aggression..
Not too sure about argus as I never had one before..
Btw, I agree with what jacks mentioned.. Usually the hungry ones will most likely be aggressive..

i've heard bankenesis are the worst but it's always dependent on the fish. There are tonnes of docile micropeltes out there

Hi,

the most vicious species is not one from the giants, its a dwarf.
Specialists are not really sure about wether its a new species or not. So its named with a sp. and the wholesalers name.
its channa sp. "glaser-harcourtbutleri" (cause the real harcourtbutleri shall look different).
