I had a 10" oscar that used to get pushed around by a 3" carpintis. The wimp could have ate it.

Sounds like a ten inch gold wolf that used to terrorize the whole tank untill the little three inch Grammodes cichlid would come out of his cave and punk the wolf...the wolf could have devoured the Grammy.

My 2"-3" Salveii chase my 13" oscar. All of my Africans chase my 13" sailfin pleco. Who hasent run from a charging chihuaha?
