Hi you all. Remember me ? I fed a Monster topic during a décade about my inner pond, with Peacocks, Stingrays, Arowanas and Catfish… and then, in May 2022, I had the « one too much » leak… and I have up… placed my fish in Switzerland and beyond, and let the tank empty… for a whole year… until 2023 March…

And now, 3 years latter, I Côme back again with a few vids

Enjoy

Loved the videos! You have lots of clown loaches and red tailed sharks! I bet that tank is a blast to watch. I would like to know more about the build and the filtration set up. I’m going to look at the rest of your threads to see if I can find more information on this tank! Great job. Thanks for posting.

I just realized, back in March 2023, I begun a topic on the new version of this tank...

and the pictures links are dead (hosted the pictures on Facebook). But anyway, nothing really new, except the whole waterproof coating system, still described, phase by phase, in this upper topic.

filtration is nothing new : a DIY inner biological 300 liters filter + a pond pressure external mechanical filter (Oase type for 40 m3 pond) plus a huge amount of plants, floating or bathing their roots into the pond, in aquaponic system.

light is 3 LED Spots (6500 kelvin each, in 200, 150 and 100 W), switching on progressively from 06:30 to 08:30 and switching off on the same theme, 12 hours later. That means a "soft" morning light (reduced by the heavy green wall that filters the light power), a full light from 08:30 to 18:30, and then, progressively, a sunset.

That’s a great idea to gradually increase/decrease the lights. More natural that way and easier for the fish too.
