Chances are they will not get along, these fish really aren't beginner fish. They are brutal on each other and the bigger they get the meaner they get. In a small tank like yours you'll be down to one in no time at all.I also think the two new fish are one male one female
Which one do you think is the female?

I'll try and get better pictures tonight

The bottom pic looks like it could be female, what size are the fish?

About 2". Damn I thought the bottom was possibly male because seems to have more of that body/head shape.

The pelvic fins on both are completely white with no spots. I though that was indication of being female?

JoeBoxer JoeBoxer I think you should keep the male, I know it is a lot to take when all these people tell you how hard it is. I'm telling you though, the reward of growing out a pair is unlike any other

What he said

Don't add punching bag fish. You see how aggressive he is. Anything you add is a punching bag fish.
Something to consider here is that "dithers" are naturally food for these fish. Parachromis are pretty predatory.
And other cichlids are terrority risks. Adding either will likely end in dead fish.
Or just add a million other cichlids and treat the tank like an African tank. *scarcasm*

Keep them separated and be patient. The male might bond with one of females through the divider. I also like the idea of adding more females. Pairing aggressive cichlids is always tricky.

How big is the tank these guys are in?
How many Parachromis do you own, Ehh?

Great question, I have a parachromis community tank with all parachromis species but jags and I use flowerhorns as dithers and I have had no dead fish for 2 years, occasional beat up FH tho, just have to get fish tough enough to take the abuse but not so tough they can kill your other fish

Don't try to police my posts lol. I told you once before, if you don't like what I have to say, then ignore me.

I think you think that because I post the same two fish over and over again those are the only fish I have hands on experience with. But whatever Frank... Feel free to attack all my post.
