Generally speaking Parental pair takes out the previous spawn to make way for the new spawn...In the cases that i noticed where this doesn't happen is when after a few weeks Postspawn There still a large amount of fry in the tank and when they spawn again that large amount of fry may be allowed to feast on the eggs uncontested...I would say in this case since you are down to 15 That these fry are likely to be in danger To be taken out completely..If you have your heart set on raising any from those 15 ,best Move some to their own Tank To play it safe...Just my opinion and experience....

Got home from work and my motas had already spawned. And they still have about ten 4week old fry.

Starting to get some teeth in! don't want to take him out to get an accurate measurement yet, I'm trying to eyeball it, I'd say 4-5 inches! And the little bugger is afraid of the ruler so I used my hand as a size reference. and on my camera roll I found a picture of my old female jaguar:(
