how big and how long ago did you get your motoro?

I got him at around 4 inch disk in june he has grown very fast

I make DIY ray food using a variation of firemedics recipe you should check out the thread in the ray section

He started out eating nightcrawlers then moved to pellets and just recently i started making my own food

and he eats 2 times a day morning and night

I have my rays eating bloodworms about 2-3 times a day,
gotta get some more trout worms and try a third food to bulk em up, although they are filling in nice

it looks like your ray is kind of pushing her mouth into the sand in the first picture,
I find my motoros doing this a lot too. looking for food I suppose?

Yup they will blow through the sand a lot. When he is not doing that he is seeing how many bubbles he can get into my filters

As long as he is having fun i suppose
