What has your motoro eaten lately? LOL! Black and earthworms, shrimp? Perhaps your dats or even a tigrinus cat? Well at least I know they are well nurished. Hindsight!

Yeah I didn't think it was funny either but I figured, that must mean the rays are that much healthier. I don't suspect much will be able to take them on. Perhaps I can get those p bass afterall.Then I know the rays will grow much faster.

How big was your ray? I have 2 motoro (m/f) that are about 12" and a 10" HBRTG. I'd hate to lose my aro ($1100 feeder). I have only seen my female ray cover my dat when he was smaller (4") but I used a feeder stick to lift up the edge of the rays disk to free him. He's now about 6" and I have never seen any other agression from my rays.
